Amsterdam 27 February 2020 – Trengo raises a EUR 1,750,000 investment by venture capital fund Peak. Trengo makes it easy for customer-facing teams to collaborate and handle conversations through a SaaS platform that aggregates client communication channels such as Facebook, Whatsapp, voice, and website chat into a shared inbox. With the new funds in the bank, Trengo will accelerate their rapid growth in Europe.
Trengo was founded in 2017 by Patrick Meutzner, Marcel van de Weerd and Igo Trampe. Their platform allows businesses and their sales and customer support teams to easily collaborate and improve their service by handling all client communication via one platform. Trengo also enables teams to automate conversations with their customers via chatbots and flowbots. Over the last three years, the founders grew the company to over 700 clients, while being bootstrapped. With the investment of Peak, Trengo aims to further accelerate their growth within Europe.

With the 1.75M investment, Trengo will expand their sales and marketing team and further improve their product. Along with improving their position in the Netherlands, Trengo will focus on accelerating their growth in Europe.
