Fueling efficiency with AI-powered digital assistants.

Den Bosch, June 19, 2023 – Neople, an innovative startup utilizing generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) to create digital co-workers, announces today that it has raised €1.5 million in an investment round. The funding was secured from lead investor Peak in collaboration with AI-investor Curiosity.

Neople will use this investment to expand its team and continue the development of its generative AI technology, enabling the creation of even more helpful and intelligent digital co-workers (the Neople) that seamlessly integrate with various platform systems.

“This investment is a significant milestone for our company, and we are delighted to welcome Peak and Curiosity as our partners. Given their expertise in the AI landscape and experience in scaling platforms like Neople, they were the ideal candidates for us. This investment will accelerate the realization of our vision and drive further growth for our company” said Hans de Penning, co-founder and CEO of Neople.

Hans continued, “With Neople, we aim to make the latest AI technologies accessible to everyone in the workforce. Over the next few years, we will deploy an increasing number of digital co-workers who can assist with various tasks, from answering questions to sending emails. Just like hiring a regular employee, you can hire a Neople from us. We will start by assisting customer support teams, thereby transforming the customer service industry”

Neople’s AI assistant can seamlessly bounce back to customer requests

By harnessing cutting-edge AI technologies, the Neoples are trained on subjects such as product information, FAQs, and past conversations. Additionally, their tone of voice can be tailored to match the specific needs of individual companies. A Neople learns and operates in the same work environment as the employee, on platforms such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, or within contact centers like Trengo and Zendesk. Neoples will collaborate with customer support teams to effectively and personably resolve customer inquiries, improving efficiency in the process.

“Neople has developed an impressive team and a powerful platform that has the potential to revolutionize the way we approach work”, said Stefan Bary, partner at Peak. “We are impressed by their vision and their ability to apply this technology, thereby transforming how businesses interact with customers. We are excited to collaborate with them.”

Since its establishment in January of this year, the young company has already deployed several Neople to businesses in the Netherlands. Bob is working at Toppy, Nikita at Fitforme, Joep at Proforto, and Bowie will join Bax-shop. By the end of 2023, there will be over 100 Neople actively working.
