Investments and exits Philippe Klitzing

In today’s episode of the Investment & Exits with Peak podcast, Peak’s very own Philippe Klitzing discusses with Jan Thomas from Startup Insider the future of Europe’s CO2 emissions & VARM’s financing round.

VARM, a Berlin-based startup in the field of thermal insulation, has received seed funding of 5.7 million euros. The funding round was led by Emerge and Pale Blue Dot, with additional support from noa (formerly A/O), Foundamental and previous angel investors. This investment will support VARM’s mission to revolutionise the insulation industry and reduce Europe’s CO2 emissions. VARM, founded in 2023 by Christian Gruener and Sebastian Wuerz, focuses on bridging the skills gap in the craft sector. The funding will enable the expansion of the “Cloud Installers” initiative, which offers tradespeople a comprehensive “business-in-a-box” solution and increases energy efficiency in Europe through better insulation.
