What role does AI play in music education? In this episode of ‘Investments & Exits’ our very own Philippe Klitzing, Partner at Peak, discuss the latest financing rounds of DeepDrive and Sirius with Niklas Raberg from Capnamic.

Munich-based DeepDrive has received €30 million in a Series B financing round led by Leitmotif, with participation from BMW i VenturesUVC Partners, co-pace (Continental) and Bayern Kapital. The capital will be used to set up production lines and further develop DeepDrive’s dual-rotor technology, which is designed to make electric vehicles This technology could halve the price difference between combustion and electric cars and greatly reduce CO2 emissions.

The Berlin start-up Sirius, an online music school, has received $4 million in a seed round led by Market One Capital and supported by Severin Zugmayer (New Renaissance Ventures), Angel Invest, Lopo Champalimaud (Treatwell), Nicole Büttner (Merantix Momentum) and Mari The money will be used to expand the product and the team, as well as to integrate AI to relieve teachers and make music lessons more accessible digitally.
