Never afraid to start from scratch
Gianluca has seen startups from almost every angle. He ran a piano school as a teenager, helped build the family company and worked in several startups before he switched sides. At Holland Capital, he learned to see companies through an investor’s eyes and fell for the Dutch way of working. That made Peak the obvious next stop. From Berlin, he now looks for DACH founders building AI that does real work, from robotics and automation to software that takes the busywork out of jobs.
Having called Germany, Denmark, Austria and Portugal home, Gianluca loves to travel and takes food very seriously. Back home, you’ll find him at the piano, checking out the new restaurant around the corner or being a little too competitive in a round of padel.
