The investment fund Peak Capital II will participate in the trading platform Nederlandsche Participatie Exchange (NPEX). On the platform established at the beginning of this year, participations are traded from unquoted property funds for private investors.
Peak Capital II is an investment fund founded by Peak Capital and a number of leading investors. It focuses on young, innovative technology, media and communication companies. Hein Siemerink, one of the partners, is also fund manager of PeakCapital II. The other investors include Willem Sijthoff (Het Financieele Dagblad and BNR) and Rob de Heus (former director of Scoot Media). Hein Siemerink is director of Peak Capital II.
Thanks to the additional capital of the new shareholder Peak Capital II, NPEX is able to further make the trading platform suitable for trading securities outside the real estate sector, according to Adriaan Hendrikse, co-initiator and board member of NPEX. ‘Moreover, the imminent change in the regulations of the AFM for’ open end funds ‘will be able to give the trading platform an extra boost.’
Yesterday it was also announced that the trading platform has two new funds: the MEI Real Estate and Triodos Vastgoedfonds listed on NYSE-Euronext
